Gap's new line for Spring has me wishing that I chose a more lucrative career. Although, the 20% discount that's being offered right now helps a bit. Act fast, it expires on April 2nd. Here are a few of the looks I have my eye on.
This is an effortless outfit that speaks volumes and has a bit of a hard edge. I was inspired by the gorgeous leather biker jacket, and it inspired me to rock out the accessories. The high-waisted jeans compliment the short crop of the shirt perfectly.
I stumbled upon this awesome blog and knew that I had to share it with you all! The 3 men that make up The Midwestyle have exactly that. The fact that they are from the midwest definitely translates into their looks. The blog highlights vintage finds, great discounts, and celebrity style icons. It's a perfect reference for men and their women alike.
This is the perfect look for exploring your hometown on a Saturday afternoon. Getting lost in the city and discovering new amazing hideaways is one of my favorite things. The flirty shorts and comfortable flats are ideal choices for an adventurous excursion.
This outfit makes me want to pack up my life and move to Nantucket. The allure of the East Coast entices me to no end. I love the laid back atmosphere that provides for long weekends on the water, and clam bakes on the beach.
I stumbled upon Ramblin Vintage's Etsy shop today, and was immediately intrigued. The clothes date from the 60's to 90's, and there are some real gems. With over 300 pieces to chose from, you are bound to find something perfect for you. Head on over and check it out!
I love the look of red paired with brown. It's not always an obvious choice, but when they're the right colors it looks great. I chose a henley style top because I think they are sexy, and a little clevage never hurt anybody. These shoes are adorable, they remind me of saddle shoes which my love for was passed on to me from my stylish mother.
This is the classic case of looks can be deceiving because the shadow looks a bit bland but it is actually gorgeous. It goes on a shimmery green and it blends out to a beautiful brown. It gives the look of layering multiple colors when it's really only one product.
If you're like me and liquid liner scares the dickens out of you, this liner will be your saving grace. It has a very easy application, and stays pretty well; to reinforce I usually go over it with a powder to ensure that it sets. The brush that it comes with is crap so I use an angled liner brush to achieve a streamlined look.
These images are from the Alice + Olivia Spring 2011 Lookbook. They have a large variety of styles going for spring this year from breton stripes, to colorful florals and even cheetah shorts. Each piece evokes a different feeling, but there's an overall sense of whimsy. Which of these do you have your eye on?
It was unintentional, but the colors of this outfit match the theme of my blog almost perfectly. I love the feel of these clothes. Sophisticated casual is my style of choice. The accessories are proving, yet again, that the perfect ones can really pull a look together. Also, I am seriously trying to talk myself out of buying these wedges.
