I know I've done the floral/stripe look on Love This Life before, but it's one of my favorite combinations, so please forgive me. Like the title of this post says, I cannot wait for the warmer weather to get here. I love the look of shorts with a simple casual tennis shoe, and I just might have to add these to my collection. This is a hot little number. Perfect for a Saturday night out on the town, but you've definitely got to have a little leg confidence. Also, check out these earrings. They have strips of suede mixed in for a more casual effect. I also love the lace bustier effect, nothing's hotter than a lace bra, and this lets you have that look without being totally revealing.

I recently saw a feature on orange blazers, and I wanted to challenge myself to put a look together, and I think it turned out nicely. I wanted to play down the color of the blazer by pairing it with a colorful top. The gold accessories are a nice accent to the brick color of the jacket and also dress the look up a bit. This look is totally spring and a little mis-matchy, but I love it! Everything is so sweet from the skirt and the ring, to the beautiful Anthropologie sweater. For some reason it reminds me of a modern day Disney character. If I had this outfit I'd just twirl around and sing everywhere I went....who are we kidding, I already do that now.

Moving On

This is the latest single from Adele, and I can't even express how excited I am for her new album to be released next Tuesday. If the few songs I've heard are any indication of the quality of the album, it will be fantastic. Stay tuned for more videos!

What do you think of the tribal print? I think it really rocks. You could go the neutral route and keep it simple and sophisticated, or go with the vibrant colorful look and make it a bit more playful; either way it really is a nice way to add some attitude to your look. Pair with basics, and these babies speak for themselves.

Comfort In Canvas

To me, there is nothing better than a plain tennis shoe that you can slip on and off with the utmost of ease. I purchased several pairs of these babies last year, and I was over-the-moon-happy to discover that Old Navy brought them back this year. They are totally soft and extra flexible, it feels like you're wearing a slipper. I am looking forward to rounding out my collection and replacing the white ones (I wore them so much they just got gross), and at only $16.50 you can definitely afford several pairs!

I wanted to do a look that incorporated suspenders today because, well, I think they're incredibly sexy on a woman. If you have the confidence to wear them, you definitely should. I added a cute brooch to dress them up a bit. Please forgive the price of the bag, it's a just a bit of wishful thinking. I also love the cream and white color combination, I've always thought it was so lovely.
